Business Development Manager at Finoverse

Fantastic opportunity to join a leading fast-growing Asia based FinTech specialist event producer. Finoverse takes the leading role on creating and developing successful global FinTech events, conferences and workshops. We are looking for candidates based in Hong Kong who are also passionate about FinTech and Tech, events and media as well as our company.

As the Business Development Manager at Finoverse, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, account management and driving the growth across the company products. You will have to achieve sale targets while delivering outstanding client relationships management. Also, you are not shy to expand your network through a strategic approach to the market.


Your role at FINNOVASIA

  • Successfully achieve specified targets and performance objectives for sponsorship within your remit
  • Make outgoing sales calls to potential clients and with a big focus on new business clients as we enter a new market for the brand to maximise revenue for sponsorship
  • Be knowledgeable about the industries, client profile, competitors and products in order to sell the right solutions to the potential clients
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline through effective relationship building, call management and lead generation
  • Ensure accurate use and maintenance of system supporting sales activities
  • Handle sales administration activities (reports, meetings, plans etc.) efficiently
  • Works closely with other internal teams to ensure all clients related activities are fulfilled
  • Proactively looking for better solutions for sales strategies and client service management

Job requirements

Who you are

  • Bachelor degree
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in sales position, business development or partner relations
  • Experience in selling sponsorship/ project is preferred
  • Passionate about FinTech/ Event industry
  • Working experience in startups/ small team is a big plus
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is preferable
  • Good in English business writing
